Spent most of the day staring off into space. Trying to connect dots in midair. My teachers couldn’t have been too happy with my attention span. I know this for a fact because Mrs. Kochansky called on me and my eyelids fluttered around on my face for a few seconds before I blurted out, “the hypotenuse of a triangle!” only to find out after all the laughter died down that she’d asked me if I could open the window beside my desk. I don’t think Subject One was too keen on my meditative state either. Seemed like every time I was lost in my head and just about to figure out exactly how both Target One and Target Two are connected to the Arts 4 Africa money, Subject One would squirm in his seat, spin around, and lock eyes with me. Then he’d get all annoyed about it. Go figure. It’s, like, if you didn’t want to have one of those awkward staring moments with me, why’d you keep folding yourself in half right there in your seat just to make sure we were staring at each other? Whatever. Totally inconsequential to what I think I now know about Target One and his potential motive for theft. No need to write it here. Not like I’ll forget or anything. Oh, and I also spent some time in Ms. Hardaway’s office. After dragging Target One in for questioning. I mean, how else would I test my theories?

Objectives:

Meet with Subject Two concerning “threats of violence” to her person. Approach and question potential Witness C concerning “pizza talk.” Apprehend Target One for a round of questioning that covers the following ground:

his funding for gaming extravagances

his rifts with classmates

his gamer connections inside/outside the RAT

his secret for a lustrous, naturally bouncy head of hair (maybe not that one?)
